idobi Sessions: As It Is - “Okay”

this song means so much to me and this version is so heartbreaking.
~talk's a waste of time~

YES!

i’m taking your word, Benny-boy!

i mean, i’ll pay anything, i’d fucking sell a kidney. i need this to happen. i need As It Is to come play TGD in Argentina. i just NEED it.

i know it’s not like they ‘announced’ it, and it may never happen. but at least there’s hope. a little bit of hope.

~talk’s a waste of time~

p.s.: curious enough, i was thinking just yesterday how i wouldn’t pay 1800 pesos (that’d be like up to 50 dollars, and over half the money i make a month giving one-on-one math classes) for 30STM (cuz let’s be honest here, their last album “AMERICA” ain’t their best work) but i’d totally pay more for either As It Is, Waterparks, Paramore, or Panic! At The Disco (Brendon, just fucking tour fucking South American at least ONCE!). so, anyways: priorities, i guess. also: #sign...?

PLEASE BEN, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Patty, please...

... stop being so cute, you adorable little shit.

i can’t take it.

Cellar Sessions: As It Is - "The Fire, The Dark" (August 8th, 2018 City Winery New York)

so, you know how i keep saying that i don't quite love the verses of "The Fire, The Dark"?

i really, really love this.

also: why does it feel like a cover? it's weird. maybe because it's Patty (and covers were his thing in YouTube) and he changed it up so much...?

idk, i fucking love it.

~talk's a waste of time~

so Warped Tour ended forever...

... and that is so fucking sad.

growing up as an "alternative/emo/whatever" teenager, going to Warped Tour has always been a dream of mine. needless to say, living in Argentina that was never gonna happen, but the dream stayed alive as long as Warped Tour did. now that it's gone... i feel like a part of my life is over. that sucks. like graduating, kinda. it also really sucks that i'll never get to experience it.

anyways, just wanted to say that and share a few (amazing) photos of ΛS IT IS taken by Dieter Unrath, because the man is a fucking genius and the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. you can almost hear the music in them.

bonus pic of Benny-boy because he didn’t take a pic of ma boi Foley :(

bittersweet af. but here we are nonetheless... it's hard to accept that time moves only forward and nothing lasts forever.

~talk’s a waste of time~

true dat, Tom.

i agree with him completely.

as music goes, i usually  buy stuff from artists i like without a doubt. and if i’m unsure i’m gonna like it, i’d download it, and if i do, then i’d buy a physical copy. but, the problem comes when most of the artists i support and love aren’t edited in my (third world) country (Argentina) and so i am literally unable to support them and give them my money. before you even suggest it, no. i do not buy digital music, because: firstly, i don’t have the means to. and secondly i have this irrational fear that if i can’t have it in my hand then it can be taken away from me by something as simple as a trojan virus. i KNOW all purchases are saved in ‘the cloud’ or whatever, but still- i don’t know, i said it was irrational. either way if i could have access to physical copies i would totally give them all my money, even though musicians don’t make much profit from record/singles purchases anyway. they make most their money through live performances. and if you’re wondering, yes. i go to every concert all my favorite bands play in my country because i am lucky enough to live in the biggest city where they all come to play. if i didn’t, i probably wouldn’t be able to. because in case you didn’t know, Argentina is a very big country and you cannot simply ‘take a train to anywhere’. so, thank god i live in Capital because i love going to concerts. it is truly a magical experience and also: yeah, bitches, you are incredibly talented, take all my money,  you deserve it!

as far as series and movies go, too. my sister and i are big, big fans of A LOT of series and movies (we follow over 20 series per week) and we buy all the physical copies we can get our hands on. maybe we do illegally watch it at first, but that’s because in this god forsake  country, some of these arrive very, very late (like, we’re still waiting for season 3 of “Arrow” to be edited. We’re on season 6 motherfuckers, get your shit together!). and also movies. and my mom pays for Netflix. and i looooove going to the cinema. a, it’s a whole different experience. b, shut up and take my money.

also books, comics and manga. that shit’s expensive, but i save up and buy them because i love supporting the artists. and, let’s be honest, digital has nothing on physical as far as books go. the weight of the book, watching the drawings up close... sorry, digital has nothing on it. (and i do have the same irrational fear of it being taken away from me... sorry).

so, yeah. i’m a big supporter of the arts. but sometimes i have no other way but to make use of piracy. as sad as that sounds u.u

~talk’s a waste of time~

p.s.: i was saving money to pay my mom in order to purchase “Oscar’s Hotel” and now Vimeo took it down. so i might never be able to watch it in my life :(

happy b-day, Beebo.

i love this massive star to death. so much talent in such a small human being. i adore him with my life. i’m telling you, my whole life.

i’ve been following this man since Panic! At the Disco became a thing. i was there from the beginning. and i would follow him to the end of the World.

“Sick Of Losing Soulmates” - dodie

what a strange being you are.
God knows where i would be
if you hadn't found me sitting all alone in the dark.
[...]

what the Hell would i be without you?

this reminds me of my best friend. i’m really emotional about this song lately and i don’t really know why? maybe because my best friend is on the other side of the World right now and i miss her. i mean, she’s on vacation having fun and i’m happy for her (obviously), but i don’t know. i just really miss her.

because what the Hell would i be without her?

~talk’s a waste of time~

human > flawed > perfect > i love her.

i wanna see her live so bad! why the fucking fuck do i live in South America?! T_T

i feel like she needs a hug.

i wanna give her a hug.

Would You Be So Kind? - live | dodie

oh, would you be so kind as to fall in love with me?
you see, i'm trying.
i know you know that i like you but that's not enough.
so if you will, please fall in love.
i think it's only fair.
there's gotta be some butterflies somewhere, wanna share?
'cause i like you but that's not enough.
so if you will, please fall in love with me.

~talk's a waste of time~

everytime you feel like your life is shit and the World is out to get you, remember

Brendon Urie is an actual person that lives and breathes and exists.

AND WHAT A FUCKING GEM HE IS!

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT! THIS BOY CAN SING!

fucking hell, Brendon just saved my March 22nd.

OH MY GOD I DON'T HAVE ANY WORDS TO SAY.

i'll stop yelling now. just watch the fucking video because this kid is amazing.

also: new bassist. on fucking point with her 5-string bass guitar. girl, respect.

I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR THE WHOLE ALBUM.

(yes, i went back to yelling, deal with it)

~talk's a waste of time~

put your nose in paperbacks instead of smoking cigarettes

these are years you’re never getting back.

he would’ve been 42 yesterday.

i hate this. i miss him so much. i didn’t even know him and i’m miss him so fucking much. i can’t even imagine what his family and friends are (still) going through. it just hurts so much.

it hurts.

i miss you, Chester.

i miss you terribly.

and i hope you’re OK. i hope you’re happy, wherever you may be.

post apreciativo: Nickelback

"Where Do I Hide?" es un claro ejemplo.
OK, te admito que "The Long Road" es más de lo mismo. pero rescatemos "Someday", "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good", y "Figured You Out". si el video de "Someday" no te hace llorar, no tenés corazón (ya sé que no tiene directamente que ver con la banda, pero igual). además, la canción es hermosa, callate. "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" es tal cual, es la vida real. como dijo Hayley Williams (Paramore) hace poquito "I should've known when things were getting good/that's when I get knocked down". y bueno: "Figured You Out", gente tóxica. gente queriendo "salvar" gente que no quiere "ser salvada". está re buena, para mí. fight me. además: Ryan <3.
