So, I thought it'd be nice of me to talk about this game a little bit.
Aside from the awesome grafics and the fact that... well, you're freaking Batman! The game is amazing. I love the fact that is one big stage (Arkham Asylum) and you have to go back and forth through all the places to get different things and complete the game and the story. Also, you find gadgets while playing the game, so you don't have all the tools to do everything at once. I thought that was pretty clever. Best part is, okay: you've got a map, you've got signals that lead you where you have to go; but still, it makes you think a little. I like that.
I particularly loved the Riddler's riddles. It's a great way to get to know the "bad guys" that stuck in the paper and never made it to the movies. Very interesting characters that we may never see on the big screen (stupid Christopher Nolan T.T). Cuz not only the Riddler tells you stories about them as you play the game, but you can also find patient interviews and that was pretty interesting.
I also really loved this game because the big bad boss is the Joker. And I just looooooove the Joker. I've always found out interesting that no one in "Batman" has super powers (except for some, like Killer Crock, Poison Ivy, Bane and a few others), and everybody is absolutely INSANE! I just dig that, I love it. I love the mind tricks, I love the craziness, the desperation of the characters when Batman sabotages their attempts of liberating the inmates in Arkham Asylum.
It's a clever game. I really liked it. I liked playing it and I also liked watching my brother play. Cuz when you're not playing the game but somebody else is, it's like watching the best Batman movie ever done.
So, I'm a nobody, but I highly recomend you play this game. You don't even have to be into Batman to like it; but if you are... then it's mind blowing.
But if you're not yet convinced that this game is a must play, here's the game trailer...
