"The series regular character, Gia, is described as a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret — “think Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted,” reads the casting notice. As such, interested actresses should be in their mid-20s and Caucasian."
I love "Girl, Interrupted", is one of my favorite Winona Ryder movies. But I can't imagine other woman than Angie Jolie playing a character as complicated as Lisa Rowe. And she has to be young, so that makes her even harder to find. I really hope they don't screw this character up by the picking an actress that's not up for the job. What am I worrying about?! It's Murchuk we're talking about, they're exquisite cast pickers -whatever that means-.
I love the name already. Gia. It sounds crazy and hardcore at the same time. That character HAS to rule.
