ok, so…

first of all: Emma looks so fucking STUNNING in that picture. if you could hit that like button more than once i probably would’ve broken my screen.

secondly: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS SO ANNOYING ABOUT ADS/SPON VIDEOS?! like, you get to enjoy Emma’s content for free (as usual, because last time i checked YouTube AND Instagram are FREE) AND she gets paid extra for promoting something she actually likes. like, seriously: what’s the downside here? i don’t understand. i tried, i tried putting myself in the position of viewer/fan/whatever-the-fuck-you-wanna-call-yourself (not that it’s that hard, i actually am one) and i still don’t get it.

it’s just so stupid.

why are people so anti-ad and anti-spon? it’s not like she’s demanding you buy the product, she’s like: “hey guys, check this thing out. it’s really good, i actually use it and like it #ad”… how is it hurting anyone? again: she’s getting some extra money to promote something she likes, why is that so terrible?

honestly, at this point, these people just need to go fuck themselves and get a life.

and also: if you don’t like that she’s ‘sold out’ or whatever the fuck you think it’s happening: unsubscribe, unfollow. literally NO ONE is making you see her content.

twenty øne pilots is back!

apparentely. i mean, it’s not like i F5 their website 24/7. i honestly don’t mind the waiting and i think that the fact that they are completely silent during their break it’s awesome. they deserve the peace.

that said, i woke up to this:

i clicked on the link, thinking: “dudes and dudettes, it’s reddit, probably a lie or a fan theory”. But i went there anyway and vaguely read it. it says something about the store section of the website, something about a ‘gif under the Vessel section’.

first of, it ain’t a gif, it’s a video. details. anyways: it’s a video of their music videos from Vessel, but at the end, the screen goes flashing for a split second and this appears:

it says: dmaorg.info/found/|||_./cl

and when you go there, the website throws the classic 404 error, only... it’s not what we’re used to.

to be honest, i find this hilarious. i mean, i lost like 5 minutes of my life, but finding this little jewel made me feel special. like i’m part of something.

i’m so excited for the new era. i’m hoping they make another concept album and they choose colors and clothing and Josh changes his drumkit entirely. aaahhh,  i’m excited! obvs the music it’s gonna be amazing, Tyler is a fucking genius and Josh is the best drummer alive (even if he still thinks he sucks).

i honestly love everything Emma does. whether it’s comedy sketches, vlogs, rants, inspirational videos, her music, her book. everything.

i like who she is.

i support who she is, no matter what format she wants to express her art through. she’s an artist. and to be honest, i love that she does everything. that she’s all over the place. i call that versatility.

i don’t have many real life friends that watch YouTube (at least not the way i do- and by that i mean following people), but whenever i reference Emma (or other artists that make music AND YouTube), i refer to her as a musician/youtuber/she’s-fucking-hilarious-you-should-check-her-out-also-her-music-is-amazing. i mean, i refer to PJ Liguori (/KickThePJ) or Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs (/JackAndDean) as film makers.

because to me, YouTube is just a platform. so, if you make music videos (covers, originals, etc), even if you’re getting paid for views (aka: working as a ‘youtuber’), you’re still a musician.

am i explaining myself clearly? probably not.

i don’t really know where i’m going with this. just know that i love Emma Blackery and everything she does and i can’t wait for the new song to come out.

in the mean time, i’m off to blast “Dirt” at top volume.

today's been good. i went to a class that made me feel that the way i've been studying isn't all that bad. i mean: i pretty much understood everything the profesor said and explained, so that's a good thing. also: one of my friends took his last final exam and graduated today! i mean technically he still has to defend his thesis, but that's pretty much a given, it's a formality. so: hurray! we went for chinese food after it was cool.
