AHS random post...

I just accidentaly found this livejournal post on the internet (well, of course. Where else, right?), and I've got some things to say:

First: you can't oblige fans to like other characters even if they are as, or more important than Tate and Violet.

Second: I totally agree what they say about the term "Violate", it's just disturbing and morbid.

Third: what's up with people actually thinking that Violet shouldn't have made Tate go away? He's a freaking psycho! I completly love Tate, with all my heart, but he did some serious bad shit, and he deserves to be punished. Also, I don't think Violet dumped him for raping her mother only. I think that little action cut the thin thread that was keeping their relationship together on her behalf. She thought: "That's it! I'm sick of your bullshit! GO AWAY!"

Fourth: how in Hell is a Murchuk show not about love? If you think American Horror Story is just about keeping you up at night, being afraid of the dark, you didn't understand what the show was about. At all. It's not about ghosts haunting the house. It's not about the murders. It's not a physical kind of terror. It's a psychological thriller. It's about how messed up the human mind can be. It's about getting over your fears or realizing what your real fears are. It's about not being able to save the day. It's about love, it's about family, it's about belonging. It's about having the society 'taboos' being exposed and talked about. I don't know if my description of the show is completly accurate, all I know is that the show it's definetly not just about having you paranoid at night thinking Thaddeous is gonna pop out of your closet to eat your brains (mostly because that would make him a zombie, which he's not. But you get the main idea).

And finally, fifth: if you don't like Tate/Violet fan-fics, then DON'T READ THEM! Nobody's making you, so mind your own business; if kids are crazy and think Violet and Tate should've stayed together then let them be, it's just a fucking T.V. show for God's sake...!

  

But before I go: you know what the best part about this LJ post is? The discussion started over not having enough icons of the rest of the cast to play RP. Yeah, talking about stupidity. Man up and make your own!

P.S.: this whole argument reminded me of Supernatural fans arguing about whether Robo-Sam was an SOB or not; and Sam-Girls screaming about Cass acting like a butt-head -> which didn't really have to do with anything. That exactly being my point. Fans go nuts when someone else attacks their favorite; don't fully understand why, it's not like us fans own the characters or anything. People are just... crazy.
