Favorite Episode
Okay, it's not just my favorite episode from the show. It is my favorite episode ever among all the series I've seen! It's just... so... AWESOME! It holds a lot of information, not only for us -the viewers- but also for the characters in it. I just love it, love it, love it.
Oh, BTW: I'm talking about 1x10: "Smoldering Children".
First of: let's cut to the chase: it's and obvious Tate/Violet episode. Which, not that it's necesary for me to say but, it's pretty much the best part of AHS in general.
Constance: "Ladies and gentlemen, The Ham."
'K, 'k. The episode starts off in 1994 with a normal Langdon Family Dinner. They seem like a pretty well ajusted group of people until Tate says grace:

'K, 'k. The episode starts off in 1994 with a normal Langdon Family Dinner. They seem like a pretty well ajusted group of people until Tate says grace:
"Thank you for the salty pig meat we are about to eat, along with the rest of the indigestible swill. And thank you for our new charade of a family. My father ran away when I was only six, and if I had known any better I would have joined him. And, also because she's been trying to get back into this house ever since she lost it, Lord, a big thank you for blinding the asshole that's doing my mother so he can't see what everybody knows: that she doesn't really love him."FYI: This is the BEST grace ever! And it's so making my 'AHS Quotes' section.
Further on in this episode Violet decides that it's time to go back to school 'cause she doesn't wanna go to trial, of course, nobody would. But, Tate does his thing -whatever that is- and convinces her to stay.
And, seriously: how can you say 'no' to a guy that looks at you like that?!
Yeah, I guess you can't.
♥ -> I love them.
Alright, let's get technical: this frame is awesome! It took me like three re-runs to actually realize it excited, but it's simply amazing. I would've never thought about doing something like that; and then Ben turns around and there's no one there ~boo!!! Yeah, well: cheers to RM & BF.
Also: Evan's face on that frame is freaking priceless and makes me wanna hug him... tightly.
She says: "I don't wanna die!"
He says: "It's too late for that" with a reproaching glance, and tears coming up his eyes.
Then he shows her this.
Tate: "You took so many, Violet. You died crying. I held you. You were safe. You died... loved. "
Darn! You're cute!!! ♥u♥
Violet asks what the heck was gonna happen now that she knows she's dead.
And he says something like: "we'll play cards like we always do" .
Basically: Violet's life was very dead-like even before she was dead, and now she gets to spend the rest of her non-supposed-to-be existence next to the guy she kinda loves.
Well, at least she thought she was falling in love with him, and actually cared about the guy until she found out he raped her mother two episodes later. I don't blame her.

Also in this episode we kinda find out why Tate did what he did. But not really; you finish the episode thinking: "yeah, he did it because ............. (write correct answer in dot line)".
But, it was kinda hot watching Tate all possesed by fury setting Larry on fire. Really, really loved that (:
Also: Ben finds out who the Rubber Man is.
And he fights him only wearing a towel. Cool.
Just when you thought no one else can die in that house simply because they won't fit...

Ryan Murphy decides to kill Phil The Exterminator, just because. I mean, yeah, he saw Violet's dead body lying there all covered in flies but... it wasn't necesary to kill him inside the house. Anyways: I love the way Tate says: "You're a murderer. You need to pay for what you've done", or something like that; it's been ages since I last seen this episode, and I'm dying to, but my brother borrowed the CD we had it burned in to some friend and I don't have it anymore T_T
I hate Larry. And the very last scene of this episode is one of the best. As it begun, so it must end. With a Constance scene. Oh, she is so fucking amazing. I love Constance, she's selfish and just plain mean, and doesn't care for anyone else but her. She's so cool.
