Before this AHS Quote even starts, I want to say a few things. First of all: this is one of my favorite Violet/Tate scenes from this episode and like... ever.
It's all so simple and sweet. This is one of those moments in Violet's life that drove her to embrace Tate when she found out what he did in Westfield instead of just sending him away. She still saw this boy right here. This cute Tate that pays a lot of attention in little details like the rose, or the fact that he tells her that everything's gonna be ok because he's there for her.
And, also, I love the way this scene demonstrate that Tate really wants to change for Violet even though deep down he knows he can't. I mean, he's a nut job, it's in his nature.
It's great watching this episodes all over again and realizing some things you ignored before. Like, I pay a lot more attention to Tate's behaviour now that I know he's actually a psychopath, which, since I didn't even think about that before, I didn't seem to notice.
Anyways, here goes the AHS Quote:
Violet & Tate on the go for their first date ♥ (1x05 - "Halloween (Part 2)")
Violet: "Tate?"
Tate: "Hey"
Violet: "It's been insane here..."
Violet: "First the cops were outside..."
Violet: "... then some freak started banging on the door, screaming about money-"
Tate: " Hey, hey."
Tate: " Shit like that tends to go down on Halloween. It's probably just asshole kids."
Tate: "It's fine now."
Tate: "I'm here."
Tate: "I painted it black."
Tate: "I know how you don't like normal things."
Violet: "Thank you. I love it!"
Tate: "You ready to go on our date?"
Violet: "Yeah...!"
xo-
*End Of Transmission*
P.S.: And, let's be honest, who can say 'no' to the smiling man-child on photo number 14?! Oh, and by the way, yes: I used 17 screencaps for a scene that holds seven lines and lasts 76 seconds. Sue me. I love both Violet and Tate, and Taissa and Evan. Mostly Evan, but who cares really?
